Man Participating in a Government Experiment Claims to be Psychic

Leah Stueber, Herald times

Bloomington, Indiana, 1970

In August 1970, a man named Ken participated in a government experiment in Bloomington, Indiana. During the experiment Ken claimed to be psychic, however other individuals connected to the same experiment weren’t so sure.

When questioned on her thoughts about Ken being psychic, Terry Ives, another person participating in the experiment, seemed agitated. “He knows something about me that didn’t say.” She chose not to be specific about her concerns.

During this investigation another unusual discovery was made. Ken claimed that he, “Just knew to come to the building where the experiment was taking place.” When the experiment moved to a different building, all of the participants rode together in a van where the driver had to check a list to make sure everyone was accounted for. But, Ken (demonstrating another example of psychic ability) said that he already knew that everyone was there. Finally I met Alice Johnson, a friend of Terry Ives. Alice is also part of the experiment and she, like Terry, questions Ken’s claim, “I don’t think he is psychic”

Not many people actually think Ken is psychic but I don’t think that will stop him.
